Inata:
Goldbelt's main project is currently being drilled as part of the 35,000m drill program begun in May, 2006. Inata trend deposits currently have an estimated NI 43-101 resource of 15.65 million tonnes grading an average of 1.9 g/t gold (948,000 oz Au) in the measured and indicated categories and 4.06 million tonnes grading 1.4 g/t gold (190,000 oz Au) in the inferred category. Belahouro Tenements:
In July 2006, Goldbelt was granted additional tenements in and around the former Belahouro license. Consisting of 10 licenses, the former Belahouro tenement is now 2,500km2. Goldbelt also has existing permits covering land at Oka Gakinde and Guesselnay, adjacent to the Belahouro tenements, which add a further 496km2 to the project area making a total area of 2,946km2. Houndé:
Consisting of 5 licenses, Goldbelt's holdings in the Houndé greenstone belt are highly prospective, and have recently been drilled as part of the summer 2006 program. Read more »
Bougouriba:
The Bougouriba Belt, south of Houndé is currently host to 20,000 artisanal miners. Grab sample results from early 2006 were very encouraging, and drilling is planned for Goldbelt's two licenses - Mandiasso & Diosso this year. Read more »
Central Burkina Faso
Ouedrogo tenement, Koupela Region:
A re-assessment of previous geological data will be conducted before developing a future exploration program. This project is situated in a massive sulphide province and its potential is not as a gold resource but for basemetals.
